The Lookbook: Summer Meadow
This year we launched 13 lookbooks already. But we completely forgot to mention them here n the blog. Some collections are made, inspired by travels, others are inspired by nature, or every day life. Our sunrise meadow is a personal tale.
The past four years Maaike has bee struggling with her health a lot. Long covid on chronic illness has hit pretty hard. But little walks around her neighborhood every day kept her grounded and in touch with nature. These small elements of every day pops of life were the inspiration for this collection. Small blooming flowers in early March. Insects and bees. Leaves. Colors bringing nature back to life after winter time. The transition to new possibilities and growth.
4 years have flown by. And the power of creation has kept her mentally strong. This collection is one of hope and future. These designs are now available for licensing. And we also have some of these designs available on fabric & wallpaper through our partners at Carriage House Printery & Spoonflower. Want to be kept in the loop and get these new prints straight into your inbox? Sign up to our newsletter and become a Little Smilemakers insider.

All you need to know about licensing print designs // A little talk about the basics of art licensing, creating a steady visual output and creating a coherent print collection

We’re already a couple of weeks into the new year and as we are finishing up some awesome new projects we made a bunch of custom designs for, it is time to plan and schedule our new exclusive design mailing. Last year we’ve welcomed over 30 new clients, and we’ve seen an increase in exclusive design buyers. With this little talk we hope to give you some insight into what we do and maybe it helps you a little figuring our how licensing print design works and what works for you and your business.
We've been on the art licensing market for almost 13 years now and I dare to say we probably have the largest portfolio of ready-made designs available. The market is getting more and more saturated so finding unique designs and using exclusive surface pattern designs is getting more and more important. Using unique designs for your brand is so very valuable for the credibility of your product towards customers. It makes you stand out from the crowd, builds trust and it lifts your product. We are passionate about creating not only a print design, but also creating a steady signature look that suits your brand. Reflecting the values and strenghts of every single business we work with. We love working with small businesses and trying to find a solution for various budgets. Design is our passion. You'll see.
Licensing artwork for your business
We have two different types of standard licensing available. If you are in need of on-trend surface pattern designs for your company and you are on a budget we have a great amount of ready-made print available in our non-exclusive library. All designs we create that are not licensed exclusively are added to this continuously growing database. At the moment we’re releasing this blog post we have over 30.000 designs available for licensing. You can find our current rates for licensing non-exclusive designs on our website. This is a great option if you’re on a budget or starting out and want to test the waters and find your own unique signature design series. The non-exclusive license comes with a standard duration for production usage of 24 months. And even though we license our designs non-exclusively we avoid licensing to competing businesses. A pretty sweet deal.
Our second licensing option is going full exclusive. This one is a little more pricey. But we always tell our customers this investment always pays back generously. A unique design is key for commercial products and selling on large scale. Most of our non-exclusive licensees grow into this license after a little while. We create new exclusive collections every season and send them out into the world in our exclusive mailing which you can also sign up for by joining our list on the website. These designs are available exclusively for a limited amount of time.
Yes you can hire us for custom projects!
We also take on custom projects. We’ve been working together with kids fashion brands for clothing, shoes, swimwear. Woman’s fashion and accessory brands. We create exclusive designs for online pet supplies and accessories. You name it, we’ve done it. The first step we take is determining what our clients wishes are. What their values are. Their target and ideal customer. Together we work on finding this unique one-of-a-kind voice for their business. For some businesses we create very minimal designs, abstracts with a Scandinavian touch in moody palettes. But we also create whimsical prints, full of fantasy and illustrations in bright popping colors for our clients that need a more playful tone in their designs. What we think is most important for our clients is finding that unique voice and translating that voice into print designs. Creating a strong one-of-a-kind coherent collection.
If you are looking for some guidance and are not yet sure how to find your way in using print designs on products we can make things a lot clearer for you. With our global client base we are always researching trends and markets all over the world, so we have a pretty good insight into what works, what doesn’t work and what trends will be coming next. Because your target’s market is constantly changing we offer free trend reports on our website to give you a general overview and give some basic insight about trends that are key for selling print-based products; how they work, if and when they are applicable to your product and what’s coming next. You can find them in our tools section and download the trend report pdf files for free. Every business is unique and so is every collab we have. We’d love to give some guidance and assist you in creating that perfect print collection.
Ready to know more? Check our website for more licensing info. Download our free trend reports. And sign up to our newsletter and receive new designs directly into your inbox and if you have any questions, please fill out the contact form so we can help you!

Behind the scenes: The logo design process

We love making logos! And this year we’ve made a whole bunch of fun logo designs. For a new Russian baby nursery textiles company, for a sing and sing writer, an education business. And at the moment we are working on the branding: logo design and graphics for a new climbing gym. With every logo design process we create 3 or more different logo concepts. So most of them are never used and don’t get to the final stage ever. We wanted to show you some logo designs we created this year that didn’t make the cut. Some minimal shapes we just love!
Sova is an education business and its products are targeted to school kids. They develop tools to help kids with learning, and all tools are used by adults who are guiding these kids through the process. For Sova Learning we needed to create a visual logo that should both be attractive to kids and adults. We used the owl as a metaphor for the educated brainiacs. We wanted to make a logo that was both professional and cute. The logo here didn't make the cut. If you're curious which one did browse over to Sova. The logo shown here was our own personal fave. A geometric minimalist owl with black outlines with our signature dot representing the tip of an ink pencil. Merging old & new in one visual. Yeah, we love hiding secret messages, or did you already see these two unite?

For a company, specializing in nursery textiles, we were asked to create something very abstract. Can you tell what shapes and messages were hidden in these three proposals?
We also added our signature dot. The same dot we use in our own logo. In our studio logo, it's the eye of a bird but for these logo sketches, this dot has a completely different meaning. For all miro lovers out there; you can probably guess! The little circle represents fertility and life. A perfect touch, adding a little quirk on a minimalist visual like this.
Looking for a logo designer?
80% of our working days are filled with print designing. But we love working on branding for small companies too. If you’d like to know more about this process, please take a look on our website. And if you just love what we do and think we could be a great match on getting you started with some cool visual design please fill out the contact form on our website. We’d love to have a chat!

The Lookbook: Mystic Universe - New Trends Fabric Collection & Surface Designs

Little Smilemakers studio is run by a lady boss. And the moon is a big part of our monthly planning. When we create, when we connect to new businesses, it's all in the stars. The moon is a powerful influencer, even if you might be sceptical and only believe in social media influencers, this design collection was in fact inspired by the mystical ways of the moon.
After reading Kate Northrups book Doing Less I realized we didn't have enough universe themes up in our portfolio. So as soon as I finished the book I started creating some moon-inspired designs. I'm a strong believer of following your female cycle so this collection was long overdue. If you believe in the magic of the universe, this one is for you! The sun, the moon. We also have some tarrot inspired mystical prints and falling stars. And they are all available on fabric in our Spoonflower shop now!
Wanna license print designs for your business? Please send us a message. We’ve also put some more info about licensing on our blog earlier this year, so if you’d like to read more about that and check out if licensing could be something for you read the blog post. We made an easy step-by-step about what you need to keep in mind before licensing print designs. Any questions? We’re happy to help. Just reach out!
Wanna be kept in the loop and get exclusive designs right into your mailbox? Sign up for our newsletter and stay up to date. You’ll get all new print designs right into your inbox. And of course, we’ll keep you informed about what we’re working on.

New work: Launching the new Meyadey brand Spring/Summer Collection
For months and months and some more months we’ve been waiting not so patiently to show you what we’ve been working on with the Maxomorra people. This week Meyadey was welcomed to the world. The new sustainable kids fashion sister brand from Maxomorra will contain only Little Smilemakers Studio prints.
We’ve create some print designs for Maxomorra in the past, but the Maxomorra style is something that outgrew us. Their customers were used to a certain style and there was little room for experimenting with new styles and trend. It was time for his very own sister brand. For this very first Spring/Summer launch we’ve create 12 designs. For boys, girls and each drop also has a gender neutral. The designs are not specific to the season because we wanted to create durable pieces that could be worn all year long. All pieces are made from the same certified cotton and high quality eco friendly inks like you’re used to from Maxomorra.
We’ll be posting some more news and images soon once they’ll be launched. So stay tuned and follow Meyadey on Insta to stay in the loop. Curious to see what we’re making for their next collections? You can follow us behind the scenes @littlesmilemakersstudio. And while we’re enjoying this launch we are working on the new collection that is planned a year from now. Meyadey is keeping us busy!

The Lookbook: The Monochromes - New Trends Fabric Collection & Surface Designs

Still going stong: Neutrals are taking over from gender specific themes and colors. What could be better than adding some monochromes to your collection? Print designs can set the tone and make or break an interior. Using Monochromes is a great way to mix and match patterns without getting too overwhelmed by color.
We created this collection a while back when we were going over our portfolio and realised we have so many girly prints! It was just a little off balance. So we added some cool novelty prints and minimals to our collections and created some fun black and whites with a hint of beige or gray here and there. What do you think? A little different then our usual batch of surface designs right? These prints make perfect nursery bedding, fun kids wear and mix and match Novelty with minimal and dare to play around.

New Autumn Collection // Thea Fashion for Kids

We love showing what our customers create with our designs. This time we wanted to give some extra love to this small German kids boutique selling children’s leggings, dresses, tops, you name it. We’re loving the new autumn/winter collection that was launched this week.
Meet Angela, a couple of years ago she ordered her first pieces of Little Smilemakers Fabric and we loved her beautiful mix of colors and textures for each collection she has launched so far. Her style is clean, cozy and always ahead of the trend. Over the years she kept creating new kid's clothes with our designs and this season she has made another batch of beautiful dresses, leggings, beanies and other fashion pieces for little ones. Her broad collection of kids fashion is available from new-born till school-going older boys and girls. The designs she picks are perfect for all ages. We wanted to give her a little shout out on the blog today. We are so excited about what she’s been making.

Angela has been working up in the air for over 10 years now. She loves working as a flight attendant but she was missing some creativity in her life so 6 years ago she started sewing and fell in love. She opened her own little handmade shop 4 years ago, and her business quickly took off. Now she works for large retailers like Lillestoff and Stoffonkel and pattern makers like Brindille & Twig which I am sure for the sewing readers here sounds very familiar. We are so happy she continues to use our designs too. So hopefully there’s a lot more to come.
All fabric she has used for the kid's pieces featured here, are available in our Spoonflower shop. Not that sewing savvy yourself? You can find all available, gorgeous handmade pieces in her Etsy shop. So do take a look if you like what you’re seeing here. And of course a big thank you to Angela, we are so happy with your ongoing support!

The designs featured here are available to license for your brand too. Send us a quick message to find out more about licensing for your products.

If you browse around on Etsy or if you check Instagram for some kids fashion you are very likely to stumble upon some Little Smilemakers prints. Most creatives that use our fabrics have small home-based businesses and sell their projects online and tag us via Instagram. Top 5 All time fave Little Smilemakers print designs / Fabric & Surface Designs

We’ve been creating print designs for a loooooong time now. Back in the day, it was easy to fill in the gap. There was no such thing as a designer licensing print designs. So business took off quite easily. Nowadays the surface design market is very saturated and most creative academies offer surface design as a course. Not in my days. I have a background in graphic designs and typography. The typography studies let me find the balance in every pattern I create up until today. We started out creating things that just weren’t there yet. And over the years we’ve been doing trend reports and we’ve seen both short and long trend waves come and pass us by. But some designs just never seem to leave our licensing list.
For this post, we selected our 5 most popular print designs to date. Some were made over 10 years ago and got picked up by a trend. Some got popular simply because they ended up in a Chinese database and turned into the most used but also stolen designs. And some are just good designs, thank god for the good designs, right? A properly balanced, color sweet spot print design.
1 // The Scandinavian Hedgehogs
We made these hedgehogs 7 years ago. At first, this surface design was only available on a white background. And most of our best selling pieces are created with a white background first. The white is a crisp clean contrast with any color used. And therefore perfect for baby nursery and clothing pieces. Pure and soft. Now, this design has been licensed all over the world numerous times. And the hedgehogs are also available in versions with gender-specific and gender-neutral backgrounds. This one still remains our best selling design to date.
Shop Hedgehogs here.

2 // The Monochrome Grid
I personally am not a very big fan of checkered designs. But simple basic check prints were missing from our portfolio. I came up with the Monochrome Grid around the same time the hedgehogs were made. I was creating an exclusive design series that was created from raw brush strokes and this grid designs didn't make the cut. Little did I know this would be one of our hot selling designs for years to come.
Shop grid designs here.
3 // Scandinavian Bunnies
There are a couple of evergreen themes in print designs. This bunny design is not a typically popular theme for kids patterns. Around Easter, we always see an increase of bunny interest but this one has been selling like mad for years, all year long. It might be the illustration that is suitable for both babies and older kids but I think it mostly has to do with the fact gender neutral kids products are very popular. And the bunny is not gender-specific like some: cats for girls, dinos for boys. It's fun to see so many different things created with this fabric. It's available in various sizes and colors and available for licensing.
Shop Bunnies here.

4 // Colorful Rainbows
Talking about evergreen designs, this rainbow design certainly is one. This particular design has been our all-time fave gender-specific design and has been licensed for girls clothes and baby nursery. At the moment, the rainbows are also very much on-trend and another rainbow design of ours is rapidly climbing the best selling charts. I am pretty sure this one will keep taking the lead though, the rainbow trend is just a wave and this print is less influenced by trend with its multiple colors and simplistic shape it's a contemporary design. Perfect for girls, even though we also have a version for boys without the pinks, this one remains a hit.
Shop Rainbows here.
5 // Geometric Indian Animals
Our last design finishing off the top 5 faves is our geometric Indian Animals design. Another design suitable for both genders. These animals were licensed to numerous companies, for baby bedding, kids fashion, and new creations made with our Spoonflower fabric keep popping up on our feeds. Definitely one of our fave designs this one. it was a blast coming up with these quirky animals full of personality.
Shop Indian Animals here.
As you can see in this top 5, most of our designs that sell best are not specific to gender. And we love the fact that parents and customers get more conscious about the durability of their products. A great trend! All of these designs are however also available in more girly and boyish tones if you do want to create something specific to gender. They're available in our Spoonflower shop and available to license directly if you wish to use our design for your business. They can be used for all sorts of products, not only on paper or fabric. If you're curious to know more just send us a message or check our website for more info and rates about licensing.

The Lookbook: Inky Fall - New Trends Fabric Collection

For our quarterly exclusive mailing, we sent our 6 brand new design collections. We wanted to put a spotlight on our new Inky Fall collection which was inspired by the raw organic texture in nature. We’ve created a collection that contains florals, leaves and abstracts.
Nature is Maaike's go-to source of inspiration and every year there's another batch of designs coming from her hands that is perfect for clothes and home decor. Our fall prints are used for wallpaper, woman's clothing and numerous fashion accessories worldwide. This collection is made to add a little color to those fall collections. These designs are available in our Spoonflower shop and available to license if you're interested in using those for your own production.
This set of designs is available to license as a complete set, but you can also license single designs non-exclusively. We’ve used current color palettes, we combined bright color pops and muted tones to create a one-of-a-kind free shaped wanderlust pattern. If you’d like to license any of these designs but need them in different colors, we’re happy to customize them on request. Just reach out and send us a message if you’d like to know more about licensing these Inky Fall prints.

Minky Couture // New range of kids blankets

A year ago we were contacted Kristine who was interested in licensing a whole bunch of our kids designs to use for her Minky company. Minky couture was established back in 2009 and is based in Utah. Minky Couture focusses on creating minky products and they carry a large collection of super soft blankets in their online shop and also sell their products in local shops.
What I love about their products is that these blankets are available in different sizes. From babies to grannies, there is something suitable for all peeps. They also have lot’s of prints to choose from so they serve a broad audience here. You can even customize your blanket, how perfect is that? We were very happy to see the result from our collab sent to our inbox. Such beautiful images. We love how the bunnies, hedgehogs and sloths make a perfect gender neutral set. We licensed our blue and pink clouds too, to get things gender specific, perfect for when you need a baby shower gift or when you’re expecting. Or just order one for yourself. You can never have enough soft blankets in your home. You know I’m right! Cuddle up in these on those cold winter nights, or use them during summer nights out on the porch.

Top 5 Best Selling Woman's Accessories // Daily Objects

When I first started my business I was looking for ways to earn a passive income, next to the custom designs I made, I had lot's of non-exclusive designs piling up on my computer. Back in the day when I was working as a graphic designer, making magazines publishers and flyers for medical organizations and seminars I missed being creative so much I started making illustrations I could sell through Shutterstock. For years this has been a great way to earn some passive income and monetize my creations.
5 years ago, when I just got back from a trip to India I was contacted by an Indian company, asking me if they could chat about collaborating with them. Back then Daily Objects was mainly focussed on creating tech accessories like mobile phone cases and laptop sleeves. I turned the memories of my travels to India into print designs and started selling my designs on their website.
Years later Daily Objects now is one of the most popular places to find tech accessories. But they have also extended their range of products. You can find not only tech-related products in their webshop, but also office supplies, (we loooove their notebooks!) woman's accessories like handbags and purses, and we love their range of leather items. Every season we send on new designs and we love to see those customer images pop up in our feed. We wanted to show you some of our fave items here on the blog.
Featured here you can find our top 5 fave items over at Daily Objects.
Movie Lovers // Big Shopper
Stay Rude // iPhone Case
Monochrome Pineapple // Laptop Sleeve
Love and Lovers // Clutch
Rickshaws // Shoulder Bag
Most of the designs used for these products are also available for licensing and available in our Spoonflower shop. On both wallpaper and fabric. So if you see something you like and want to start your own creative project take a look at our Spoonflower shop. For all items featured here please visit the Daily Objects shop. Daily Objects works directly with artists from all around the world. So every sale someone is doing a happy dance.

New Work // Halloween fabric collection

Fright night is coming! And we are preparing for a night filled with spook and yikes! We just had to add another batch of designs for this year's halloween. We added a series of skulls for both boys and girls. Some geometric halloween animals that are just to die for. Super cute as I may say to myself...
and of course some witches, vampires and scary shizzle is now up in our Spoonflower shop. If you would like to license some of these prints for your business just reach out and send us a quick message. Traditionally October 31 is the day to remember the dead. But nowadays it is a time to dress up and have fun. And we love to see what our fabric customers are creating this year. Fun pumpkin leggings, black cat dresses. We've seen some cool pupkin dog accessories pop up. So many cute creations made with our Little Smilemakers Spoonflower fabric.
And even though this holiday has turned into this crazy dress up party world wide, it is also a day to remember those that passed. Enjoy this joyful holiday, celebrate and remember the life of those whom have passed and left a mark in your life or have influenced your being. Happy Halloween!

Little Smilemakers Studio Moved // New Address

Finally we're all settled in and ready to focus on work again instead of scoring that perfect ochre carpet, shopping for some lush green in one of our local shops in our new street, or searching for that perfect cabinet to hold the printer we only use for doing taxes. Anyway it is back to work again! And we have moved into the best place to do so.
The new studio is located within an old swimming pool building. The facade has it’s original Art Deco detailing and signing from 1920. Back then the swimming pool was the largest in-house pool in Europe. But it closed up in 1995. 5 years ago De Nieuwe Regentes opened it’s theater doors. There is a main stage, built above the old swimming pool. Under this main stage area is the 'under water' area, still in tact. With it's old tiles and diagonal floor. This is an area for presentations and also used for art exhibits. You can still see the showers and changing rooms, original details are still there, making the place one of a kind. The building has transformed into a cultural hotspot and new parts were added to the old structure.
"4 years ago, I started doing volunteer work in the theater. Working from my home was driving me bonkers and I needed to be around people. I work as a volunteer, behind the scenes on our kids mornings. And I love being around the creative buzz that is constantly going around. So when my colleague asked me if I would like to move into the building with the studio everything screamed YES!"
We are working in the old changing area that is turned into three offices. As you can imagine, working inside of a theater can be hectic. Suddenly a woman starts to sing opera, practicing for her performance later that day. Kids run around finding their way to our weekly toddler concerts. Watching dance rehearsals during lunch break. Every day is different. And that is exactly what is needed to keep creatively inspired.
Feel welcome to visit us in our new office! We have a great tearoom to host and meet up with clients and some proper coffee to get you through the day. Or check the the website to see what's going on in the theater.

Let's celebrate yellow / 5 reasons why we all adore this color of joy and sunshine

Colors have a strong but also subconscious effect on our everyday lives. During my design studies, studying color was our most demanding and time consuming subject. As a visual artist I was taught how to influence and effect others with my use of the color spectrum.
Yellow is the color of sunshine, joy, vitality, happiness and creativity. Yellow is bright and warm and often used for light, breezy and joyful subjects. When I think about yellow I think off sunshine, vacation… But this color is also symbol of courage an confidence, boosting energy and self esteem. And with a little hint of black, bright sunny yellow turns into a trendy mustard color. With a little touch of red, ochre. All gender neutral colors that are very popular right now.
1 // I love yellow personality
I personally never liked yellow. Up until last year I wouldn't use this color in my designs. Only a little hint every now and then. Now I create full yellow, mostly mustard colored, designs and I really love these shades of yellow, but still I would never add a 100% yellow color to my work. I still have this inexplicable aversion towards the bright yellow color. Maybe it is just a little too energetic, draws a little too much attention, and with this ingredient it is hard to balance out colors in a design too? According to spiritual studies the color represents our self worth and in stressful times can be too vibrant. The color always makes me feel a little agitated.
2 // Yellow & branding
Yellow has often been used as a signal color. Like red is used for caution, bright yellow is often used to stand out and bring attention to the subject too, think about urban signage or the numerous cabs that circle around Manhattan, they are easy to find since their color pops out. And what about post-it notes, a brilliant color to remind you of things to do. A great color for attention without the heaviness of danger. Yellow loves to talk and is a color that can speak for itself. It is not often used in logo design but if we think about yellow branding we all think about cheap, outlet companies. Can you come up with some?

3 // The color of creativity
Yellow also lifts our mood and increases brain activity if we are surrounded by the color. It is the color of new ideas, while activating us it puts the brain at work and can give us a new perspective, create new solutions. Yellow activates in al lot of ways.
4 // Yellow & food
Studies have shown that people that were eating in a yellow room would eat a lot more than in rooms that were painted in other colors. So maybe painting your dining room in a shade of yellow might not be a good idea if you want to watch your weight. I do not eat at fast food joints often, most of these 'restaurants' have yellow interiors to make you eat a little more. A clever way to generate more cash right? One of world's largest fast food joint is well know for it's screaming yellow logo. The go to place to stuff your face.
5 // Girls & boys
This year yellow has been making a come back in fashion design. Yellow is a perfect color for gender neutral interior accents and is perfect in fashion for both boys and girls. Right now ochre and mustard are two shades that are very trending in print and fashion and also two shades we love to work with. We have made an entire new mustard colored series for this summer season. Go shop for sunshine at Spoonflower.

Finished Product: Lsea Swimwear // Flamingo two-piece bikini

Oh yes, I am a little water rat myself and love that the temperatures are rising again. Cannot wait to put on my bikini and take off to the beach when everyone else is working. You can imagine how super excited we get to work with fashion brands that focus on swimwear. We have worked together with several beachwear companies in the past and we wanted to put a little extra light on this cool fashion brand based in Florida.
Swimwear made with love
We loved seeing these images pop up in our social media feed. So fresh and fun. We just couldn’t wait to share them with you. But it is not only the awesome flamingo bikini we love. Also the story behind the product is very interesting.
Bethany is the owner of Lsea and she and her husband visited the Dominican Republic back in 2015. She totally fell in love with the country but also witnessed Dominican youth, the problems, the poverty. After this trip she decided she wanted to do something more meaningful and created a brand that would make a difference. A portion of the income is donated to educate and nourish Dominican children, giving them a proper foundation to build their future on. Bethany wanted to offer them the same opportunities she had while growing up and while her swimwear brand is rapidly growing, her dream of helping these kids becomes reality.
Support her cause
So if you would like to get your hands on a new two-piece for the swimming pool or if you are planning a trip and dip in the ocean. Take a look at her website and support her sweet cause. She has some fun tropical prints to choose from and there are also some one-piece bathing suits available if you are a little reluctant to wear these minimal bikini’s. I know they can be a little challenging! Enjoy browsing around Bethany’s online shop.

Trend Alert // Botanical watercolors

We started creating prints and patterns 12 years ago already and we started out creating mostly vector based designs, followed by hand drawn prints, using our sketches made for vector design. We also created some custom watercolor designs in the early days, but for regular licensing; watercolors were impossible to sell.
But ever since the conscious trend, slow design kept growing, raw materials, abstracts, textures, use of paint, chalk, paper cuts and there it is watercolors. We are so happy to see this trend taking off and we have been making four new collections in watercolors the past three years. Our summer fruits, boho series, our abstracts and most recently, because how could we not…. our new watercolor botanicals.
Going back to creating watercolors has been so much fun. I loved using this medium when I was still studying, but as a graphic designer, using watercolors was always pretty difficult, very costly and difficult to integrate into graphic items.
Watercolors are only interesting to create and sell in between jobs. Since creating watercolors is pretty specific and takes a lot more time to create and to process and digitalize. So for now we are not looking for any custom watercolor jobs. But we do have a whole bunch you can license for your business in our non-exclusive library. Just send us a quick message to find our more about our licensing structures. Hope you like the new collection! Is is also available in our Spoonflower shop on both fabric and wallpaper.
