Finished Work: Meyadey // Eco-conscious kids fashion // Fall 2020

There have been so many new collections coming out these past weeks. And this must be one of our fave projects to work on. meyadey is a sister brand of Swedish eco-conscious kids fashion brand Maxomorra. Ever season there are new drops. And this week the new fall collection dropped. Due to Covid there was a tiny bit of a delay but the first three prints were finally released and in stores this week.

For Meyadey we create all print designs. Most of the designs are exclusively made. But since out handwriting suits the brand, we also create new prints from somewhat older illustrations. These three designs however are exclusives, made for meyadey. We start the design process a year in advance. Producing a conscious brand is not about speed, we take our time to sit doan and discuss what is important and with every collection we want to launch fun, whimsical designs in colorful palettes. These three prints are the first three of the cooler season. There are 9 more designs to go. And we can't wait to show you the rest! These new itams are now available in stores all over the world. So if you see something you like, there's a retailer in your area too.

We licensed these three prints exclusively to Meyadey. But we also license our designs non-exclusively for clients on a budget. The Lookbook: Inky Fall - New Autumn Trends Fabric Collection & Art Licensing 2019

We can't get enough of these long sun-drenched summer days, but fall is around the corner and we even got so far licensing prints for Valentine's Day already! Yikes! Every year when the heatwave hits the studio, we're busy making fall and winter designs. This collection is based on a series of designs we made a couple of years ago. Exclusively for Veritas Benelux.

This collection was made with pages and pages of inked paper. With dry brushes and pencils. The loose abstract shapes and brush strokes were turned into layered illustrative elements such as flowers and trees digitally. Some were made as illustrative shapes right away, like the palm leaves on top. This collection is a mix of fall with a hint of summer. We love dragging summer elements into September! Simply cuz we don't wanna say goodbye to summer just yet. And these new surface designs make perfect fall clothes and swimwear. We already licensed a few of these but all prints shown here are now available in our Spoonflower shop and available for licensing non-exclusively.

The Lookbook: Inky Fall - New Trends Fabric Collection

For our quarterly exclusive mailing, we sent our 6 brand new design collections. We wanted to put a spotlight on our new Inky Fall collection which was inspired by the raw organic texture in nature. We’ve created a collection that contains florals, leaves and abstracts.

Nature is Maaike's go-to source of inspiration and every year there's another batch of designs coming from her hands that is perfect for clothes and home decor. Our fall prints are used for wallpaper, woman's clothing and numerous fashion accessories worldwide. This collection is made to add a little color to those fall collections. These designs are available in our Spoonflower shop and available to license if you're interested in using those for your own production.

This set of designs is available to license as a complete set, but you can also license single designs non-exclusively. We’ve used current color palettes, we combined bright color pops and muted tones to create a one-of-a-kind free shaped wanderlust pattern.
