Another creative year has past. We have made tons of new designs, started working with a crazy amount of new clients all over the world and have seen some great finished projects come by made with Little Smilemakers fabric. Now it is time for a short break. Spend some time with our loved ones and travel. We wish you a warm loving Christmas and a sparkling and creative new year. Hope to see you back in 2016!

For a few months now I have been working together with a rapidly growing Indian company. I know I have some Indians following my work, i hope you will be as excited about the entire Daily Object designer series as I am. It was great to make some new Indian designs. Elephants, rickshaws, peacocks. Everything India is not a problem for me. I have not only been making India inspired designs but also some fun modern designs: fashion items, music icons, hipster themes, trendy illustrations and retro patterns. This year I have been working for Veritas fall collection. Now Veritas has started their winter sale. Some of the items are reduced in price. I did not show the collection of comfy underwear before. New designs are up in the La Millou webshop. Have you seen the new Paris hipster design already? I love the combination of crisp black illustrations and silhouettes with pastel detailing and little pieces of typography. Who doesn't love this pearl of love? Which of these three designs do you prefer?

If I am a typical Dutch designer is for you to decide. Maybe the clean shapes and white background is typically Dutch. I am not sure. I let myself get inspired by the world and even though I am located in The Hague, Holland, most of my artwork is about my trips and travels around the world. After getting many requests ('please, make more Dutch designs') I decided it was about time to dedicate some time to creating something typically Dutch. Hopefully you will enjoy these Bicycle and Amsterdam designs.
