Sandra Reemer is a Dutch/Indonesian singer and has been working in the business for a long time. Although it might have seemed quite for a while she never stopped her biggest passion: singing. For this seasonal month she has released her version of Ave Maria for which Little Smilemakers Studio has made the artwork. For this production she has worked with Vincent Boot and Roel Jongenelen. Vincent Boot, that last name might sound familiar? Yes, Vince is my brother and also pianist. He has been working with Sandra for over a few years now but also just finished one of his many solo projects. The single The Guardian Angel was released this month. Take a look at his website if you'd like to read more. Good news for all you fabric lovers! I know some of you have been waiting for this post for a long time! Usually saturday i'm off work but today i could not resist to open the package that was delivered on my doorstep. My Spoonflower fabric samples arrived! I could not wait any longer. After a good quality check, nothing more to be adjusted, i post my patterns up for sale just now.

Spoonflower can print my designs on different types of fabric. Cotton, silk, chinese crepe or linen. I love especially love the organic cotton and linnen. Now i really need some sewing lessons to go create all the lovely things that were stuck in my head all this time!

> Unfinished Words | Kavka Antwerp

Unfinished Words is a new project supported by Antwerp Youth Capital 2011 & de Stad Antwerpen. A collaboration between Unfinished Monkeys and a big group of multidisciplined artists. We all put together an amazing event in youth house Kavka, Antwerp. This night you can see all the creative minds and work blend. Unfinished Words is an open event filled with random words, psycho poetry, acapella or solo vocals, hiphop dj's, mc's, heavy weight music, crazy visuals and graphics, progressive decorations and lots more. So come and see! Doors open at 8pm. Performances start at 8.30pm and we will be entertaining you till 6am!

> Unfinished Monkeys online!

Na een knetterdrukke week hebben we toch nog eventjs de tijd genomen een kleine selectie van de monkeys online te zetten. Er moet nog een hoop gebeuren maar dit is alvast een goed voorproefje voor alle mensen die ons steeds opnieuw vragen; "maar wat doen jullie dan."
Zoals ik al zei, er moet nog veel gebeuren. Maar je kunt in ieder geval al eventjes goed genieten van onze twee meest bijzondere monkeys. Miriam Zink en Rob Kanters.

> Live Soundscaping met Robosto

For the new Robosto try out we arranged a preformance in the Fort in Antwerp. We only took a white blanket, some cables, a set of visuals and instruments with us. With those ingredients we created a short preformance as a warm up for the Robosto Groten Prins theater preformances in Leuven. Rob Kanters made a very nice live soundscape. A piece of that is somewhere on youtube. But is was a nice afternoon. The audience was very much moved!

Boards of canada. Seen on my Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul. I love shooting pictures from aircrafts. Every look into the sun looks different from up here. Every cloudscape is an other soft pattern.

> Skeft artylectual exposition

This years skeft was a huge success! Lots to see and a couple of art items were sold. Unfortunately a few were stolen aswell.... but never the less it was a big party. With great energy and ofcourse a musical preformance by our Unfinished Monkey Rob Kanters

Amazing music by Rob Kanters. These images are made in downtown Rotterdam. I love the way every colour blends with the other, all brightly coloured, layers. This is the first video he has ever made. I love it. I say: well done!
