Crazy Cat Planner // Ankepanke brings 50+ illustrators together for her new project // Pre-order now!

"About 5 weeks ago it started to ‘itch’ again and I felt like creating a new planner" Ankepanke says. Maybe you’ve seen the GIRL or Pretty in Pink planner? This time it’s a Crazy Cat Lady planner! 50+ creatives from all over the world participate in this new project.

Ankepanke has taken initiative to, once again, bring all these amazing pieces of art together. Last year she already made the Pretty in Pink planner in which I was asked to participate as well. The past few months have been very busy and productive so there was no time to get some new surface patterns online for stock. After weeks of work i took an afternoon off to design some new spring themed patterns for fabric and stationary. This is a small preview of a series of colorful spring 2013 surface patterns. Retro time! At this moment I am making a set of old vintage icon patterns. I just finished an old radio pattern set and this roller skates pattern. What retro icons can you come up with? I loved those roller skates and had an old set just like these big ones when I grew up! I spend hours and hours skating around the neighborhood. Good old derby times! Het nieuwe stationary seizoen is begonnen! De eerste agenda's voor het volgende schooljaar worden nu alweer in elkaar gezet. Het beloofd weer een lekker creatief seizoen te worden. Zoals bijvoorbeeld met de Girlscene agenda. Deze transformeert dit jaar een heus stijlboek! Bij deze een kleine impressie!

De nieuwe back to school lijnen liggen weer in de winkel. In de V&D, Bruna, Kruidvat en Trekpleister liggen stapels met werk. Pffff kostte wat bloed zweet en RSI tranen maar daar liggen ze dan...Dit jaar heb ik aardig wat stationary moeten maken. De nieuwe Girlsscene agenda. In opdracht van de oprichtster van het forum waar blijkbaar elke meisje onder de 18 regelmatig zijn ideeën post.

De nieuwe Panda goed Glamour is een karakter uit mijn hand en krijgt volgend jaar een vervolg waar we al hard mee aan het stoeien zijn. Ik verklap alvast 1 ding: Ze heeft voor de gelegenheid iets anders aan getrokken!

Almost done! We have been making so many school products for next year. It was awesome to make so much new stuff. This year i had the opportunity to illustrate all stationary myself. All nine stationary lines are completely original designalicious. All stationary is now in production! All back to school products will be in store next june.
