New things are coming up! I finished another interview last week with Zazzle's Amanda. Talking about how i keep inspired and how my travels influence my work. About India, Costa Rica, Cuba, Nepal and lots of other places. Another series of fabric are waiting to be designed for Spoonflower and i started designing templates and illustrations for Kaartje2Go today. We werken alweer een tijdje aan de nieuwe EHBO items voor het Rode Kruis. Voor een nieuwe folder en flyerlijn worden momenteel pictogrammen gemaakt per onderwerp. Super leuke klus natuurlijk. Bij deze alvast een voorproefje!

Five years ago i decided i wanted to move out of my Rotterdam apartment. It was falling apart, the rent was crazy and i was working and studying in The Hague. I thought it would be really nice to move again after living in this amazing city and the room with the view. I have been missing my little cozy apartment everyday for the past five years. Today i miss it even more.

Breathe & Break
Working on a concept for a milticultural youth center for teenagers and young adults. Lots of teens experience domestic pressure and violence. This center is a concept for air. A break of it all. With 'balance' workshops and 'comfort' meetings. A little break for each person.

Wondering around the streets of Kathmandu i stopped to drink a nice frozen coffee in the early morning. The walls were too bright for my 'just opened' eyes. But i captured the amazing illustrations with my camera.

> Hondenleven dubbeldik nieuwjaarsnummer!

Het dubbeldikke winternummer ligt vanaf 15 december in de winkel!
Een klein voorproefje van het nieuwe Hondenleven Magazine. Om de koude dagen door te komen hebben we een dubbeldik winternummer gemaakt met een hoop leuke doe-dingetjes om lekker bezig te zijn binnenshuis. Zo hebben we in dit nummer een fijne puzzel, een winterwoordzoeker om mee op de bank te kruipen. En een bomvolle pagina met websites waarop je al je creativiteit kunt loslaten. Natuurlijk valt er weer een hele berg leuke gadgets te winnen voor je viervoeter. Maar wat ook zeker de moeite waard is zijn onze nieuwe winter-fotoreportages. De husky's gaan weer de sneeuw in!

Every two years i visit London. I usually try to visit the Tate Modern during my stay. The tate modern is an excellent gallery, including many interesting exhibitions. Even if modern art is not your fancy then it is still a worthwhile visit, especially if you are interested in any aspect of art. It is good to see different types of work. I particularly enjoyed my visit because of the variety of work available.

Al een jaartje of drie verkoop ik via istock en shutterstock illustraties en foto's. Het is geen vetpot maar het is wel leuk om je werk op de meest ongebruikelijke plekken en onverwachte momenten tegen het lijf te lopen.

Inmiddels staat er een aardige portfolio online bij deze microstock websites. Wil je illustraties of foto's gebruiken maar wel graag zonder abonnement de beelden afkopen, neem dat direct met mij contact op!

Voor de nieuze Agenda's van 2011/2012 zijn we alweer hard op weg met nieuwe ontwerpen. Dit jaar heb ik ruim 20 ontwerpen gemaakt voor de nieuwe back to school lijnen. Een stuk cleaner dan het afgelopen jaar maar nog steeds gek van patronen! Hier drie voorbeelden!
