It has been a year since we started working for Daily Objects. As you might know Maaike is a great fan of India and when she was asked to make an entire range of designs for this new rapidly growing company she was excited to add her Indian designs to their collection of designs. As a fan of music I must adore this man. I love Jimi Hendrix. I have been stroling around shops and the internet to find a nice print to make a t-shirt of this guitar playing icon. But no luck. So a while ago I started making a large portrait drawing. Not thinking this would end up on fabric. But as you might already know. I can make a cute pattern out of almost every shape or form so, yes... I decided it was about time to add this pattern to my new fabric collection. The large portrait and print are also available for your couch on a cute throw pillow. But, for real Jimi Hendrix fans, the patterned print will also be available on wallpaper. What? Yes, wallpaper! I love this job!

One of my biggest passions is travel. I love to see things I have never seen before and I adore different cultures and countries. My work is highly inspired by my travels. This summer I have traveled through Asia. Visiting National Parks in India, Indonesia and Nepal inspired me to do a series of wild life illustrations.

These screen print illustrations are available on fabric and wallpaper at the Spoonflower shop, uploaded to the Shutterstock portfolio and added to the list of prints, tank tops, tote bags, laptop covers and iphone cases (for new iPhone5S and iphone5C cases as well) Society6 shop.
