> A little inspirational video | Behind the scenes at Little Smilemakers Studio | Drawing on camera

For the Shutterstock Stories entry I have made several shots that did not make the final cut. But what to do with all this material. I do not like clutter on my computer so it was either throwing all these pieces of film out or do something with it. I decided to upload them as a little source of inspiration. Hopefully these short clips can inspire you to start drawing as well. Enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.

Online Little Smilemakers patterns and illustrations | Check out the entire portfolio on Shutterstock | Standard & Enhanced License

Via social media and e-mail people keep asking me; "where can I purchase your patterns and illustrations?" Well, after replying to several people this week i thought maybe let's just do another blogpost.

For several years i am working on my online portfolio at Shutterstock. One of the world's largest stock agencies. Next to my exclusive designing i upload stock images, these are for sale with standard or enhanced license. If you would like to purchase a design and use it for commercial purpose you will need to purchase the enhanced license. Check out all info about commercial use before downloading. If you have any questions about what license would be suitable for your product check the Q&A or contact customer support.

> Spring will kick in soon! Time for some Little Smilemakers Florals!

The past few months have been very busy and productive so there was no time to get some new surface patterns online for stock. After weeks of work i took an afternoon off to design some new spring themed patterns for fabric and stationary. This is a small preview of a series of colorful spring 2013 surface patterns. They will be available in my Designalicious shutterstock portfolio.

> Like Little Smilemakers on Facebook!

My facebook page was getting confusing. After having too much 'likes' i could not change my page into the full business name. So the only option (after a year of working as a little smilemaker) was opening my new business page! Visit, like and join! http://www.facebook.com/LittleSmilemakersStudio

> Making fabric

What an incredible inspiring place that is! Istanbul is a city, home for nearly 20 million people, busy, crowded, chaotic, polluted but amazingly colourful! Wherever you go you can see the hand pinted patterns. On walls, ceilings, pottery or fabric. Just what i needed, a nice piece of inspiration for my new Unfinished Monkey project. Bright colourd flowers were painted on the ceiling of a little tea lounge. In the middle of the very busy Bazar.

Together with product designer Miriam Zink, we will be launching a very fruity, spicy and chicky webshop. We are working hard on our Unfinished Monkeys website but ofcourse try to make some new stuff aswell. Making fabric.
